Ministries | Neighborhood Care

Berean Neighborhood Care (BNC) provides a means for the people of Berean to express the love of Christ in tangible ways throughout local neighborhoods. BNC encourages and assists Christian care giving that honors the words of Jesus, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me..." Matthew 25:36-37

BNC works with small groups such as Sunday School Classes, Bible Study Groups and families to plan and carry out projects that help those in need, this includes both community and individual household help

Community Help:
BNC coordinates work with many community organizations that depend on volunteers to sustain their ministry. These groups serve the homeless and the needy of all ages, race and levels of need. Hands-on projects are available with organizations such as: Here's Life Inner City, Community Action Council, Maria Sandvik Center, 363 Days, Feed My Starving Children and many others. Referrals are made on needs that BNC is not equipped to handle.

Household Help:
BNC not only organizes volunteers to help with needs of Berean members but also for the needs of Berean neighbors and friends. Home repairs, transportation issues, household moves, yard care and meals are just a few areas where help is provided.
