Berean Breakaway is a one day retreat designed to allow women to get away from normal
routines and connect with other women. This retreat is for women of all ages. Please
join us in a day of worship, fellowship, workshop, and inspiration.

Join us as we fellowship and put our hands to work knitting, sewing and crocheting
warm hats and mittens and making blankets for needy children in the Ukraine. Instruction
will be given on the use of knitting machines and piece work. We accept donations
of yarn, fleece and flannel.

Mothers with children from birth through age 5: we gather with similar needs and
a shared desire to be the best mothers we can be! Outings will be planned throughout

Saturday, April 24rd 9-noon
People from the community and from Berean are invited to shop an assortment of gently-used
kids clothes, toys, videos, books and baby equipment. This year we are adding maternity
clothes to the assortment. Everything is given free of charge, and shoppers are
encouraged to take as much as they can use.
DONATIONS are welcome. Especially needed: Children’s clothing size
5 and up. To donate larger items such as furniture, please call to make arrangements.
Car seats will not be accepted.
Volunteers are needed to help with April event:
- People with trucks or trailers to help move donated items from the storage unit
to the church.
- People to help set up for the event and to provide care for children of other volunteers.
- People to help shoppers during the event and clean up afterwards.
