Join us in September as Pastor Wes Feltner continues his message series, “Illusions: Believing is Seeing.”  In the Bible, the parables of Jesus expose the illusions of the world and help us see how life really works.  Missed a Sunday?  No problem, you can catch all past messages online.  > Sunday Messages

All-Church Prayer Meeting:  Sunday, September 21, 5:30 p.m.
Berean’s elders, ministry leaders, and staff will lead a time of worship and prayer.  Prayer meetings are on the third Sunday of each month.

 Fire Muster Parade:  Saturday, September 6, 11:30 a.m.
Walk alongside the Berean float at the Burnsville Fire Muster Parade.  Participants will be passing out water bottles to parade goers advertising our new Saturday night service.  All ages welcome!  If you are interested in helping decorate the float or being a parade participant, contact Kay Larson.


Promotion Weekend:  Saturday & Sunday, September 6 & 7
Children advance to the next class.  All children ages 2-grade 4 will follow the school year calendar.  Look for new signage by your classrooms!

Wednesday Night Clubs Registration:  Wednesday, September 10, 6:30 p.m., Main Commons
Enroll your child in our clubs for ages 4 through 4th grade.  Meet Club Directors, purchase club clothing and workbooks, or volunteer to help.  Club kickoff is on September 17 at 6:30 p.m.


Parent Info Meeting:  Sunday, September 7, 6:30 p.m., Room 114
All parents of 5-12 grade students:  Come meet the staff and hear all about the upcoming year.  Hear an overview of Student Ministries, and then break off to separate rooms for Preteen, Junior High, and Senior High Ministries.


Adult Classes & Support Groups:  Adult classes and support groups are starting up! Cover-to-Cover Survey of the Bible is starting on August 24. DivorceCare and GriefShare begin meeting Sunday, September 14. Come and find the support you need.  > Class Registration

Berean Care Training:  Sundays beginning September 14, 5:30-8 p.m.; Wednesdays beginning September 17, 9:30-12 p.m.
We want you to benefit from the nation’s premier caregiving training developed by Stephen Ministry.  This ten-week course equips believers in relating to those going through difficult times. Materials cost $25 (scholarships available). > Berean Care Training Registration


Men’s Fall Lodge:  Friday, September 19, 6-8:30 p.m.
“You’ve Got What it Takes: There’s more to you than you know.”  Join us for our Men’s Fall Lodge event to enjoy Jesse’s famous barbecue and hear from a former high ranking Master Chief in the Navy (whose identity is a surprise).   > Men’s Fall Lodge Registration 

IronWorks Fall Session:  Fridays beginning September 26, 6:30-7:30 a.m.; Wednesdays beginning October 1, 5:30-6:45 p.m.
Men, join us for great community, connection, and strengthening at IronWorks fall session, “Wise App!  Wisdom when you need it.”   Join us on Wednesday nights or Friday mornings.   >


Women’s Fall Bible Studies:  Beginning in September
Dig deeper into God’s Word with other women this fall.  We are offering a variety of studies, including “Precepts-Covenant”  by Kay Arthur, a mom’s study on the book, “A Beautiful Mess; Motherhood for Every Moment,” a study on Gideon by Priscilla Shirer, or live teaching on the book of Matthew by several of Berean’s women.     > Women’s Bible Study Information & Registration

Women’s Night Out:  Sunday, September 21, 6-8 p.m., Room 114
Join us for a game night like never before.  Relax, laugh, and meet new friends.  There will be food, fun games, and lots of time to socialize.  Open to women of all ages and stages of life.  Questions?  Contact Mendie Skarp.


Voice of the Martyrs Conference:  Saturday, September 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Global Outreach is hosting this community-wide event, focused on the worldwide persecuted church, featuring four international speakers from hostile communities that regularly persecute Christians.  Free and open to all.   > Find out more 

First Foods:  The first Sunday of each month we receive food donations from the Berean community that are given to local food shelves and organizations.  Bags can be picked up and donations can be dropped off at the Outreach Corner.  This month’s First Foods will go to Lincoln Place.

Sanctuary Choir and Handbell Choir:  The new season for Berean’s choirs is here!  Sanctuary Choir rehearsals begin Wednesday, August 27 at 6:45 p.m.  Handbell Choir rehearsals begin Sunday, September 14 at 6 p.m.  To join, contact Clare Boyer today!
