Are you struggling in your life? Do you need someone to listen and care for you? Berean’s Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers who meet privately and confidentially with those who are struggling with life’s issues.
Our Stephen Ministers are specially selected and trained in Christian caregiving. They are not professional counselors or therapists, but they are there to listen and care for you as you walk through your struggles. They care by listening, supporting, encouraging, and praying. The care they give is always trustworthy and confidential.

Would you like to become a Stephen Minister?
Stephen Ministry has been in operation at Berean for over 5 years with 59 Stephen Ministers currently serving. This ministry has been a blessing to individuals, to the lay ministers themselves, and to the whole congregation as we offer love and support to hurting people.
In order to continue and expand this ministry of care, we are beginning another 20 week Stephen Ministry training class on September 12. Take advantage of this opportunity to share the love that God has given you and care for those who are struggling or experiencing crisis. You will find that being a Stephen Minister will not only be helpful to others, but it will be one of the most fulfilling and joyful experiences that you have ever had.
