Berean Kids Weekends

Our mission is to see the lives of kids and their families transformed by the power of the gospel. We want to partner with parents in teaching the younger generation about who God is, what He has done for us through His Son, and to guide them toward knowing and loving Jesus.

Berean Kids programs are provided by a dedicated staff of employees and volunteers, each one committed to displaying Christ’s love.

What to Expect

Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the worship service so we can help you become familiar with our check-in process, the kids' area, and introduce you to the leaders in your child’s classroom.

Check-In + Security

Our computerized check-in system provides security for our Berean Kids while parents attend worship. Once your child is registered, you will check him or her in and receive a numbered name tag for your child, and corresponding parent pick-up slip. The numbered pick-up slip ensures that only a parent or guardian may pick up their child. In addition, all of our volunteers have been interviewed and have passed background checks.

Well-Child Policy

In order to ensure the health of other children and workers, please refrain from bringing your child if he/she has had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: diarrhea, vomiting, 100+ degree fever, rash, non-clear runny nose, or has been on antibiotics for less than 24 hours.

Kids with Special Needs
BK Inc. (Berean Kids Inclusion)
Children of all abilities and their families are welcome at Berean, just as they are.
Berean desires that the gospel be fully accessible to children of all levels of ability. Because children learn in different ways BK Inc. offers one-on-one support to children requiring it . We also provide a more intimate and hands-on learning experience in the BK Inc. classroom.
The entire family is affected when one individual within the family has a special need or disability. We understand and support the entire family’s need for respite and time for gospel growth and learning by providing a safe and loving environment for all children.
For more information, or to enroll your child, please contact Lana Western.
Food + Snacks

Berean Kids does not provide snacks for any of our classes.

Bringing Items to the Classroom

Older kids are encouraged to bring their Bibles. We ask that children leave toys, cell phones, purses, etc. in the car or at home.

Contacting You

If we need to contact you after you have dropped off your child, we will text you on the cell number you provide at the time of check-in.

Berean believes that Child Dedication is the first step in discipling your child.

Sometimes, when a child is old enough to understand that immersion baptism is an important step of obedience, and a public profession of faith in Jesus, Berean baptizes kids.

Baptisms are held quarterly during our FaithFamily Celebration events, but kids have to preregister. To initiate that process, please submit this form.

Toddler Cry Room

This room is provided for parents who wish to watch the service with a fussy child. Please ask for directions at Kids Check-In.

Mothers' Nursing Room

This room allows mothers to nurse their infants while watching the service.

Activity Bags

Your children are welcome to attend the worship service with you. We have kid-friendly activity bags available at the entrance of the Worship Center.
